Ashanti Shequoiya who is better known by the name Ashanti, is an incredibly popular American singer and actress. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter as well as an actor. Ashanti gained fame as a teenager. The year 2002 was when she was signed to Murder Inc. Records. In the same year, she made an appearance on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's track, Always on Time and Fat Joe's What's luv? First female artist to reach the highest two spots within the United States, with Foolish first and What's Luv? What's Luv? Tina Douglas was her mother and Ken Kaide Thomas Douglas had earlier been vocalists. The Kenashia Shia family is their younger sister. The release was made on Murder Inc. on the 3rd of June, 2008. The 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released to stations and digital platforms. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and was Latasha Montclair in Army Wives. Her song Rock wit U was sampled by British singer Aitch to accompany his track Baby on the 10th of March 2022.
